The summer was exceptionally busy for us here in Northfields,” says Micaela Tong, Lettings Director at the local RSK office. “We've rented a record number of properties and have a huge influx of tenants looking in the area due to the amazing schools, parks and transport links. Demand has continued into autumn.”

“Our Corporate Lettings and International Relocation department deals with enquiries from companies and individuals from around the world looking to relocate here,” she continues. “We've seen a big increase in the level of corporate enquiries this year, which is great for our Landlords – corporate tenants tend to prefer long-term tenancies, which minimises any void periods.”

The story is similar in Ealing. “We have a large number of tenants moving out from central London because the property prices are so much more affordable, families looking to be in close proximity to great schools and we've also seen a big demand corporate services department because the great links into central London and easy access to Heathrow,” says RSK Ealing Lettings Director Altin Ismali.

Buyers are also out in force, with Northfields particularly busy. “We have seen a sustained flow of new buyers to the area attracted by the excellent state and private schools, superb leisure and shopping amenities and beautiful parks,” says Ronan McNamara, Sales Director. “The delay of Crossrail hasn’t negatively affected demand, as far as we can tell.”
